Hello Fellow Critical Thinker!

Welcome to my blog! In our day and age, we have become more polarized towards people that have even just a little bit of a different opinion than us. We look at the people on “the other team”, and we think about all of the ways that their opinions are bad, and that because they have those opinions, they are even somewhat less of a human than we are. Somehow we are automatically better humans than they are, and their opinions make them detestable to us. In reality, we are all imperfect humans that make mistakes, and we are all capable of doing terrible things to one another. With very few exceptions, everyone has a logical side to them, and an emotional side to them. Both sides of the human experience are very important, but I think that in order to live in proximity with each other, we have to be able to think critically about ideas, and about the issues that plague this fallen world that we live in. Once we can think about these ideas in a well thought out way, and consider all of the options, we will then be able to make better choices in our lives. I do look at things from a Christian worldview, but I think my blog will be able to help anyone who is willing to try to understand. The hope is that people will read this blog, and that they will not only answer the questions posed to them for themselves, but that they will also ask more questions about their life so that they can step towards a better life.
